Why Wild Harvested?

Wild-harvested maca is of a completely different quality than cultivated maca.  Ours is the only wild harvested maca available. It is of the ancient ancestral varieties, which have never been cultivated and which grow at the highest elevations, where little else can survive and where no agriculture can be practiced.   This wild harvested maca is smaller in size and darker in color than cultivated maca, which is grown in the lowlands on large farms where the soils are often depleted and bear no resemblance to the composition of the virgin soils of our wild maca.  The superior quality of this rare and  difficult-to-find energy super-food is unparalleled.  Laboratory tests have demonstrated that our maca contains the highest levels of rare phyto-nutrients and other essential ingredients that are not found in cultivated maca.  There is no other equivalent product available on the planet.  We invite you to compare!

The quality of our maca is endorsed by the Kallawaya Indians, recognized by UNESCO as natural healers. It is one of the 100 or so plants they use to practice their traditional medicine.
